For the 16th annual Provincetown Tennessee williams festival, New Orleans-based burlesque performer, Lefty Lucy, joins forces with local talent, Gina Carmela, to present Tennessee's Latest Peepshow!
What if Blanche were the one writing her own story? How would she tell it? Lefty Lucy's charming and emotional burlesque numbers display the story of Blanche Dubois leaving the Tarantula hotel and venturing to New Orleans in search of sights and a new dream. Stanley Kowalski is represented by Carmela belting out control with a strut and a strip down to leather chaps--helping Blanche into the descent, into a woman lost...she broke out of that straight jacket yeah know...right?
