Lefty Lucy and Gina Carmela are back for the 17th annual Tennessee Williams festival-- tutti frutti! Masculinity and femininity blend into storytelling as Lefty takes on the representation of Tennessee's heroines, while Carmela represents her toxic romance: the men of his stories, heavily equipped with patriarchal passionate swagger.
Bananas Burlesque, In a take-off -- Take it all off! -- striptease homage to the fruits of the 2022 Festival season, Lefty Lucy supplies answers to questions you didn’t dare ask. What if The Magic Tower was a torch song? How did Blanche DuBois escape from her straitjacket? How about we celebrate Tutti Frutti Tennessee Williams with song and dance and taking off our clothes?
